On the day


*Meet at the NC2 Office in Main Street Natimuk             (25Km west of Horsham)

  • Opposite the National Hotel.      Car Parking near by.

*100 Km Riders:                                           

* Registration & Ride Pack collection from 6.30am

* A pre-Ride Briefing will be held at 7:15am                                

* The Ride will start at 7.30am  (up to 8.30am) 

                                                     

*50 Km Riders…              

* Registration & Rider Pack collection from 8.00am

* A pre-Ride Briefing will be held at 8.45am

* The Ride will start at 9.00am  (up to 10.00am)

 

*20 Km Riders….

*Registration & Rider Pack collection from 9.30am

*The Ride will start at 10.00am from the NC2 Office.

* It follows the Big Sky Arapiles Bike Trail …10 Kilometres each way…(Unsuitable for Road Tyres)

(For Families who would rather not ride the 10Km back to Natimuk, we ‘may’ be able to offer a car ride back to Natimuk to pick up your vehicle.

WHAT TO BRING:

* ENTRY RECEIPT
* Bike, in good condition.   (Spare Tube, basic tool kit)
* Helmet.
* Mobile Phone
* Water Bottle.  
* Some cash.
 **At the end of the Ride, Lunch is available at the

National Hotel, Natimuk Café or the Natimuk Milk Bar

 

MECHANICAL SUPPORT:           Will be provided on the day for breakdowns       (phone contact)

RIDER SUPPORT:                        A Support vehicle will follow riders on the day

AVERAGE SPEED MINIMUM: 100Km  19KMH  50Km 12KMH

FIRST-AID:                                   Qualified First Aid Services will be in attendance   (phone contact)

REST STOPS:                              Noradjuha Hall, Centenary Park, and the Grass Flat Fire Station all have Shelter, Toilets, Drinks and Fruit/Snacks.                                              Natimuk Lake Caravan Park has shelter and toilets.

                                                      

ON THE ROUTE: A printed Map will be available on the day.

Road Intersections will have Signage and /or Marshalls.

 Victorian Road Rules apply throughout the Event

 The Event is not a race.

ACE Ride Cyclists are requested not to ride up or down the Arapiles Summit Road      (Safety & Parks Victoria issues)
